Our Story
Our brewery was born from a love of craft beers and an empty warehouse. Located in Yorkton, we are one of Saskatchewan's newest micro breweries. We are using the technology of the SmartBrew® system to brew fresh and high quality craft beer.
The idea for the brewery came to fruition when the old tenants of the building announced they were leaving. Because we own the whole building and rented out half, we decided to investigate our options. How the idea came about was perhaps an unusual circumstance.
While watching an episode of Bar Rescue, co-founder Corey Geddes took note of the brewing system the bar in question was using. After learning about the Smart Brew system from the show, Corey did his own investigating and proceeded to call up the other founder Trevor Plews and pitch the idea of a brewery.
Before we knew it, we were on a plane to Nova Scotia to learn how to set up a brewery. After learning the ins and outs of the Smart Brew system, we decided to commit and thus, the brewery was born. The venture was too big for Trevor and Corey so they own the business with multiple other shareholders.
